Q. What process is used to determine sourcing, pricing and project development?
A. LGO Global will evaluate the customer's requirements and the vendor best suited to produce their product, we will we work with the supplier to obtain the most competitive pricing and will follow the project through development stages into full production, addressing any issues which might arise.
Q. What are the normal terms of payment?
A. Our normal terms of payment are Net 30 days; however, extended terms are available upon request and approval.
Q. Who is responsible for the freight costs from the supplier to our dock?
A. These costs are included in our quoted price.
Q. In establishing a long term agreement, will all prices be held for the duration of the agreement?
A. With the exception of increases in metal costs, the currency exchange rate and freight costs all the prices will be held for the duration of the written agreement. However, adjustments for changes in variable costs will be evaluated quarterly.
Q. Who will invoice and be paid for the product?

A. No. This is a service provided by LGO Global Sourcing, LLC
Q. What international laws/tradelaws will affect these shipments?
A. None at this time.
Q. What impact does the overseas content have on our customers' NAFTA agreement?
A. None.
Q. How do we recoup losses due to non-conformance?
A. Product is replaced at no charge.
Q. Are there any hidden costs/fees?
A. None.
Q. What are the normal minimum order quantities?
A. 500 molds for disa and 50 to 100 molds for other processes such as squeezer and cope and drag work.
Q. What if minimum order quantities are excessive for good inventory management?
A. LGO Global offers warehousing services and JIT shipments.
Q. What is a total leadtime from date of purchase/subsequent release?
A. 90 to 120 days from date of purchase for first production run; 60 to 90 days for each subsequent release.
Q. How are chargebacks handled when parts are warehoused over a period of time?
A. Chargebacks for warehoused items must be submitted within 60 days of receipt of goods.
Q. Are the suppliers quality certified?
A. We have vendors who are ISO9001 and TS16949 certified. We also use suppliers who are not certified for non-engineered parts. LGO has audited each of these suppliers to meet acceptable quality standards.
Q. Is the vendor insured for any type of failure to service?
A. Product liability insurance is carried by LGO.
Q. How are quality issues handled between the source and customer?
A. The LGO quality staff, both in the U.S. and abroad work with both our customer and supplier to resolve all quality issues.
