Q. Who will we work with in regard to pricing, sourcing and project development?
A. LGO Global having determined the vendor best suited to produce the product, we will handle any issues with pricing and product development with our vendor on the customer's behalf.
Q. What are the normal terms of payment?
A. Our normal terms of payment are Net 20 days; however, extended terms are available upon request and approval.
Q. Who is responsible for the freight costs from China to our dock?
A. These costs are included in our quoted price.
Q. In establishing a long term agreement, will all prices be held for the duration of the agreement?
A. With the exception of increases in metal costs and freight, which will be assessed as a surcharge, if applicable, all the prices will be held for the duration of the written agreement.
Q. Who will invoice and be paid for the product?
LGO Global Sourcing, LLC
Q. Will the customer be involved with Customs clearance?
A. No. This is handled by LGO Global, Ltd.
Q. What international laws/tradelaws will affect these shipments?
A. None at this time.
Q. What impact does the overseas content have on our customers' NAFTA agreement?
A. None.
Q. How do we recoup losses due to casting issues?
A. Product is replaced at no charge.
Q. Are there any hidden costs/fees?
A. None.
Q. What are the normal minimum order quantities?
A. 500 molds for disa and 50 to 100 molds for other processes such as squeezer and cope and drag work.
Q. What if minimum order quantities are excessive for good inventory management?
A. We will warehouse in our warehouse or at customer's facilities and offer extended terms.
Q. What is a total leadtime from date of purchase/subsequent release?
A. 90 to 120 days from date of purchase for first production run; 60 t0 90 days for each subsequent release.
Q. How are chargebacks handled when parts are warehoused over a period of time?
A. Any charge backs for warehoused items must be submitted within 60 days of receipt of goods.
Q. Are the suppliers ISO/QS-9000 certified?
A. All of our vendors are ISO/QS-9000, TS16949 certified.
Q. Is the vendor insured for any type of failure to service?
A. Product liability insurance is carried by LGO.
Q. How are quality issues handled between the source and customer and who will be responsible for the cost of resolution?
A. All such issues are handled by LGO with the vendor.
